Mera Peak Trek is an adventure that includes both the experiences of scenic alpine trekking  and rewarding peak climbing. Standing at 6,476 meters, Mera Peak is the highest trekking peak in Nepal. It offers the panoramic view of 5 above eight thousand meters peaks - Everest, Lhotse, Cho Oyu, Makalu and Kanchenjunga. Walking along the Hinku river, passing through rhododendron forest, crossing Chatra La and stepping over the crevasses, reminds hikers of the good times in extraordinary places on earth. This trail is best suited for people who likes to avoid crowded trails like Everest Base Camp, are new/interested in mountain climbing and have good fitness level. It is a perfect introduction to Himalayan mountaineering.

Like any hikes of Nepal, you will be ascending and descending today all the way to Pangom. Hiking in the forest becomes peaceful and enjoyable at this altitude because of the perfect temperature and humidity. You will have plenty of new things to observe while passing through villages and mountain sides.
